Who we are

MuniLine is a service of IOWA LOVE, LLC ("we"). We provide automated phone answering to government offices ("Offices"). You can contact us at support@muniline.ai.

Information we collect when someone calls an Office that uses MuniLine

  • The caller's phone number.
  • The content of the conversation (a text transcript and summary).
  • Call details: time, duration, and which office location was called.
  • If the caller asks for a text or a callback, the number they confirm for that purpose.

We do not ask callers for their name, date of birth, license or ID numbers, or reason for calling, and we do not look up records. MuniLine does not currently store audio recordings of calls.

Information about Office staff who use the dashboard

For Office staff who use the MuniLine dashboard, we collect name, email address, and login activity.

How we use information

  • To answer the call.
  • To send a text the caller requested.
  • To record a callback request for the Office.
  • To give the Office reports about its calls.
  • To improve answer quality for that Office.
  • To secure and operate the service.

Sharing

We share call information only with the Office the caller called, and with service providers that run the service for us (telephone and text carriers, hosting, email delivery, and AI processing providers) under obligations to protect it.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging opt-in data or consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Retention

Call records are kept for as long as the Office's account is active or as the Office directs, and are deleted when the Office's account ends or on a verified request.

Your choices

Callers can contact the Office they called, or support@muniline.ai, to request access to or deletion of their call information.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect information. Access to call data is limited to the Office and authorized staff.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We will post updates to this policy here with a new effective date.
